2007 Family Olympics!!
This summer a new "family activity' was started...Family Olympics! We even had an Olympic cake (rings and all) that said, "Let the games begin!"
The first activity was watermelon races - up and down that huge hill! After that we did a very detailed obstacle course - winning prizes along the way - with the option to trade 3 for one at the end. The little kids got to be the giraffe heads and get money out of the trees - yes it does grow on trees!! The old Aussie Tossie (family fav) was next - speed goes to Chris, but Sarah had the "Best Style" award hands down!!! One of my favorites was the scavenger hunt. Emilee and Kenzie were in charge of providing the clues - the best clue was when Kenzie said, "Christians first" - it was actually "Scripture verse" - so that one took us a while - ha ha!!
At the end of all the games - as always - Jolie took off all her clothes! Guess I need to fix that before preschool.
We all had a wonderful time!!!! Thanks so much mom!!!
